Our sweet Miller, always known as Miller Girl, was born in 2008 and I adopted her when she was 8 weeks old! She was rescued from the humane society of Statesboro, Georgia. She came home to me when I was in college and instantly became my best friend! She was young, vibrant and full of energy. She was loyal until the very end. She was protective, affectionate and incredibly cuddly. Miller girl got me through the death of my parents, lifes ups and downs, break-ups, you name it! My husband came into our life 5 years ago and instantly felln in love with her. She loved him immediately. We adopted a cat, Leroy, who Miller girl tolerated, but Leroy loved her big sister! 2 years ago was the birth of our first son and Miller instantly protected him. We were worried since she advanced in age, but quickly we realized we had nothing to be worried about. Miller wasn’t just our dog, she was our family. She was loved by so many and fought so hard her entire life. She was previously hit by a car and survived, battled cancer numerous times and won. She had 9 lives! I’m so thankful she held on as long as she did. I was laying on the floor snuggling her when she took her last breath. I will always hold her in my heart and I pray she knows how loved she was. Forever my Miller girl!
