My sweet loving Diesel Bug aka “Ole Man”, what an amazing life you lived. We all have had such a beautiful 10 years together with you. When I first brought you home I was 8 months pregnant with my first baby and I had no clue what I was getting myself into, bringing a husky into the mix. Boy you were the king of chaos and an expert escape artist. I remember you would take every opportunity you had to run out of the door behind us or dig under the fence to go for a run just to make us get in the car to chase you, all so you could jump in the car and go for a ride, that was your favorite game ever. You absolutely loved mud and would make sure to cover every inch of yourself in it every chance you got. The funniest part about you was you were a snow dog that hated the cold and hated snow, you preferred to be lying in the sun all day long over anything else. Thank you for being my closest, my best, my most wonderful loyal friend. Thank you for sharing 10 beautiful years with us. In the past 10 years we have added 5 beautiful children to our family that you always treated as your own, you’ve been through losing Addalynne which I know broke your heart but you were there by my side through it all. I couldn’t have asked for a better dog and best friend. Until you left, I had no idea how many people’s lives you had touched. Many tears were shed when I spoke of your passing. You were loved by so many people Diesel and will forever be missed. Our lives will forever be changed by your passing. Your kids will forever cherish the memories they have with you. They said they love and miss you so much and know that you will forever be with them. Take care of Addalynne for me, love her and protect her okay Ole Man? I will love and miss you forever sweet boy! Thank you for holding on all these years for us.
