Dakota was a much loved member of our family for almost 18 years. Dakota and I had a special bond. He looked out for me always. We’d start every morning with a hug and a kiss on the top of his head. Scrambled eggs with cheese to soon follow. Then outside for sunshine or a curl up in his bed. He was actually my daughter, Katie’s dog, but lived with us most of his life. The first furry grandkid to call me Nana. I loved to spoil him. He adored my granddaughter, Kinsley, and watched over her from the minute she was born. He loved all of us just as much as we loved him. My handsome boy, hope you are playing happily in that meadow just past Rainbow Bridge. When it is my turn to go to Heaven…I can’t wait to meet Jesus face to face. After that I hope He will say “she’s here! Come get her!” |
